Flying out of Osaka Kansai Airport (KIX), there was a good view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.

Arrived!

Getting off the train, I could feel the cold air for the first time since arriving in Hokkaido.

The snow-covered streets reminded me of Calgary or Edmonton.

I had my first ramen in Hokkaido at a small shop near Sapporo Station.

It started snowing in the evening as we walked to place for soup curry. I was surprised there was a line as it was snowing pretty heavily. I thought the food was okay but not spectacular.
