It is perhaps a bit ironic I included the quote below on my travel blog website where I describe specific things I have seen and gave tips on planning ahead. However, some of the best experiences I have had travelling weren't on the initial itinerary, they were more organic, random experiences I encountered when I took the wrong turn and ended up in a quaint local cafe or talked to a local or another traveller. Whatever travelling you choose to do, whether local or halfway around the world, the experience is ulimately what you make it.
